Dubai's home team is an ambitious sports project that launched in 2024 with a bold vision to be a leader in the sport across Europe. From the very start of the 2024/25 season, Dubai Basketball has been competing in the ABA League, one of the continent’s most prestigious competitions, with eyes on taking the regional game to new heights. Their opponents, Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, are a powerhouse in European basketball. Based in Montenegro and founded in 1949, the team boasts a legacy which includes three national championships and cup titles, as well as an ABA League win in 2018.
