Vinyl Souk’s Mini Festival is back - and this time, it’s teaming up with creative powerhouse byjello to transform 25hours Hotel Dubai One Central into a celebration of sound, culture and community on 13 April. From 4pm until late, the festival will take over every corner of the hotel with a non-stop line-up of alternative music, regional talent, creative experiences and family-friendly fun.
You’ll find mellow grooves at the Souk Sessions in Nomad Day Bar, electronic sets that will get you moving at Monkey Bar and dynamic live music in Room #3. The music line-up spans the region, with standout performances from Bull Funk Zoo, Dirty Backseat, Refugee Sound System, Analog Room, Boogie Box, Shadi Megallaa, Gharam Electric, Walashi, Tala Mortada and more surprise guests set to keep the energy high throughout the day.
Guests can also dive into hands-on creative experiences, from a scratch session to a panel exploring the cultural history of locally built sound systems in the MENA region. Don't miss the thought-provoking talks and screenings curated by Cinema Akil. Film lovers can catch two UAE premieres: Sound System Sanskriti from India and Studio 17: The Lost Reggae Tapes from the UK and Jamaica - both presented in collaboration with Doc’n Roll Film Festival.
Adding to the immersive atmosphere is a vibrant marketplace filled with music pop-ups, vinyl records, art and limited-edition collectibles. Be ready to explore, dance and connect.
