Backed by big ambitions and a bold vision, Dubai Basketball is rewriting the sports narrative in the region. As Dubai’s first international professional basketball franchise, the team has quickly climbed the scoreboards after launching in 2024, earning their place among Europe’s elite by joining the ABA League in their debut season.
Their opponents, KK Split, bring decades of heritage to the court. Once known as Jugoplastika, the Croatian giants dominated European basketball in the late 80s and early 90s, famously winning three consecutive Champions Cups. With a legacy that spans generations, Split remains one of the ABA League’s most respected clubs.
